More Walking Dead TV teasers!!! (2010)

See here – at the wonderful io9;

I think whoever did the casting for this (and I am thinking Frank Darabont) made a decision bordering on Genius when he casted Andrew Lincoln (i mean – who knew????). He looks so at home in the role. And the rumours of a second season may be premature, but it is only a matter of time until we get to that second season. One month to go (it airs in the US in a months time, but you may well be able to find it the day after if you live outside the US, like me) and I think this could be the television event of the year (and that is despite X Factor UK looking bloody good this year).

  1. I am so looking forward to this!Have started working my way through the hardcovers in preparation.Hope we don't have to wait too long for this in the UK – I suspect this will take "Dexter"s slot on FX,which might mean a late November air date??Love your blog – discovered it the same time as the comics….

  2. The collections are a brilliant way of getting into Kirkman's masterpiece. I think the TV show could match the quality of the comic book, and visually it will probably trump the comic – that bit on the trailer with the badly decayed half-zombie, the helicopter view of the undead swarming the tank….You are bang on the money with November in the UK on FX; for the kind words.TWLB

  3. I really loved the original 2000AD ad you posted a while ago. You will not believe the fun I had with the "Space Spinner" as a kid. Somehow missed issue 2 and the stickers though, although I think I read the comic for the next 4-5 years. I'm almost getting the same sense of anticipation from TWD now…..
